Led by internationally acclaimed bassist, composer, recording artist, and producer Joe Fonda, who served as the bassist with the renowned Anthony Braxton Quartet, Sextet, Tentet and Tri Centric Orchestra from 1984 -2000, From the Source is an interdisciplinary music-performance ensemble that blurs the boundaries between music, dance and healing. “As a response to the alienation of a culture bombarded with fractured images and sound bites, the group “attempts to connect with something larger, and bridges the past and the present . . . using sound to awaken collective memories that we have enjoyed to dislodge in the body.”  For this performance, From the Source features Joe Fonda, bass; Rob Garcia, drums; Kenny Wessel, guitar; and Sam Barfeld, violin.

Dino’s Safe Haven Concert Series was created upon the passing in July 2021 of renowned sound designer, composer-improviser and long-time New Mexico resident, J.A. Deane (“Dino”), who bequeathed a generous gift of his “Safe Haven Tiny Home” to Outpost to support the work of like-minded artists.
