Jerry Robbins grew up in Roswell  New Mexico and was captivated by the Beatles performance on the Ed Sullivan Show and began to play the guitar. Jerry’s first performance was on a music telethon aired on KSWS Roswell TV  at the age of 15. He played “Norwegian Wood”. 

Jerry picked up the nickname “Mungo Jerry” while driving through southern Colorado with his friends listening to “In the Summertime” on the radio by the British band Mungo Jerry.

Jerry began his professional music career in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the early 1990s with the band 8-TRACK. The band gaining popularity in Albuquerque had a great run for six years, Unfortunately, two key band members passed away, and 8-TRACK came to an end, but Jerry’s love for music has continued…
