J.S. Bach’s legacy permeates this concert, both subtly and overtly, across continents and centuries. Named after the 18^th  century French philosopher Denis Diderot, this quartet’s performances on historical instruments bring a fresh approach to works of the 18^th  and 19^th centuries.
