FIRST FLOOR HIGHWAY are decisive mavens of the Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA music scene. Having played independently under a manifold of different guises throughout the years, this kindred band of sovereign musicians has now come together on a circuit of a post-pandemic dream to offer a new auditory dynasty of kinetic 80s new-wave/post-punk inspirited forty-nine. This musically deft tribe of auditory misfits with no; make-up, leather tights, or snakeskin boots; delivers with their unique pedigree of sun-soaked southwest desert-infused refrain. Stepping out from behind the drums, First Floor Highway is championed by Jordan O. James (Chippewa/Ojibwe) and was signed to Seraphatomic Records in support of recording their debut album at Broadcast Bunker studios. This sonic yet dynamic group of musical ramblers is without reservation, dissonant yet melodious.
