Dimi DiSanti – Michael Anthony Duo + Dimi DiSanti’s RAD-MAD Organ Trio

Guitarist Dimian (Dimi) DiSanti has been a fixture on the New Mexico music scene for over 40 years and is one of the most sought-after guitarists in the region with his unique blend of Blues, Jazz and World Beat styles. Tonight, for the first set, he is joined by New Mexico Hall of Fame guitarist, Michael Anthony, in a duo format in which the two legendary NM guiartists explore creative interplay based on some cherished jazz standards. Then, it’s a set with DiSanti’s RAD-MAD organ trio featuring Robert Muller on organ, Arnaldo Acosta, drums. Formed through a shared love of soul-jazz, funk and improvisation, the trio blends deep grooves, gritty soul and energetic performances into a sound that feels both classic and modern. Drawing inspiration from legendary organ trios and informed by each member’s unique musical influences, the band’s tight arrangements of original compositions and unexpected covers range from laid-back soul-jazz to driving funk.
