Acclaimed New England based singer-songwriter, Cheryl Wheeler, is a raconteur, philosopher, and comedienne who combines strong poetry, striking imagery, memorable melodies, and hilariously keen insights into the human condition. Her long list of powerful originals that includes top country hits “Addicted” (Dan Seals) and “Aces” (Suzy Bogguss), walk a fine line between aching poignancy and razor-sharp wit and her beautiful voice and sly sense of humor ensure that she will always be her own best interpreter. You have to see her in person to fully appreciate her genius “for steering an entire audience from roof-raising mirth to heart-wrenching empathy and back again, often in the course of a single song.” Wheeler has recorded thirteen folk albums to date and has toured extensively throughout the United States since the mid-1970s. Kenny White, a native New Yorker who was raised in Fort Lee, NJ, began his career in the 1970s, touring exclusively as the keyboard player for Jonathan Edwards and later with Livingston Taylor, and on Linda Ronstadt’s legendary Living in the USA tour. He has also toured as the special guest opener for Judy Collins, who signed him to her own Wildflower Records label. An accomplished pianist, who also plays guitar, he has become more known for his clever lyrics, including on Long List of Priors, his current album which features his latest collection of original songs that are, like Wheeler, snapshots of the human condition.
