Bébé La La 15-Year Anniversary Concert Celebration

Albuquerque’s multi-award-winning Indie Folk Français duo, Bébé La La, featuring singer-songwriter, guitarist, violist (and long time Outpost staff member) Alicia Ultan and singer-songwriter, accordionist Maryse Lapierre, celebrates 15 years of performing and recording together. Formed in 2010, the duo merged Lapierre’s French influences and Ultan’s original folk inspired “art” songs. They have received numerous New Mexico Music Award nominations and awards. Their 2015 debut release, High Wire, was described as “Wild—Alternative—Magic!” and their 2022 release, A Curious Series of Unexpected Events, was called “An album for our times.” Joining the duo will be Micky Patten, bass and guitar; Joe Chellman, drums; and special musical guests, including Alicia’s twin sister, cellist Jacqueline Ultan.
